सौगतः A Buddhist; a follower of Sugata or Buddha; (the Buddhists are divided into four great schools; माध्यमिक, सौत्रान्तिक, योगाचार & वैभासिक); सौगतजरत्प- रिव्राजिकायास्तु कामन्दक्याः प्रथमां भूमिकां भाव एवाधीते Māl.1.
